If I missed a solution please let me know and please for the love of all that is holesome and good in the world, warn people. I did not have this problem vanilla and didn't see too much about it discussed but I can't possibly be a small minority suffering from it. Now I can walk around with people saying hello, sniffling, or commenting on my clothes but not forcing me to stop every 5 seconds. No matter what load order I had the problem continued until I deselected it.

I even thought the Optimizer mod was preventing this as I had deleted that because it wont allow Patch Code to work.

Unacceptable!Īfter taking out mods and trying over and over to discover what was happening I finally tried the biggy endorsed in so many places I just had to have it.I thought at first it was one of the options for the Morrowind Patch Code or one of the other small mods. I wanted to create a companion who actually 'knew' what was going on, had their own opinions and agenda concerning it, and would be interesting company on the journey. It started because the Morrowind Main Quest can be a lonely business. Searching for solutions I think I made it better with the MSE and shutup mod but did not eliminate it, only forcing me to talk 5-6 times on the way to the store and not 10-15 times. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Morrowind Code Patch Introduction This is a companion/quest mod. In civilized areas your game becomes unplayable. Not to mention getting to the store, being forced to talk to someone you walked away from, just having a conversation with. When you do someone across the town starts a conversation followed by a guard and maybe someone else that you cant see. some one else wants to talk downstairs before you leave. Not bad but venture upstairs to 5 people who will force a conversation. Imagine Entering the store in Seyda Neen and being forced to talk with the owner. If they did it once, even everytime you entered that cell, it might be playable but they will do it over and over and over. Even when that person is on the other side of the town, behind a building and looking away from you. It is when every NPC forces a conversation with you, opening the dialogue box. For those that don't know what that is, you're lucky. It advertises to fix all kinds of bugs in quests and gameplay and might actually do it but leaves you with the dreaded "Forced Greet". Whatever name you want to use for it, be afraid, be very afraid.
